Margot Juros is a Research Director for IDC Retail Insights responsible for the Retail Technology Strategies research program. Ms. Juros’s core research focuses on best practices, trends, market conditions, business concerns, and vendor offerings to provide authoritative advice on investment, life-cycle management and the use of technologies for modern IT infrastructure. Her research will cover key technologies in Retail transformation, including IT modernization, cloud/edge/5G, security, payments, mobile platforms, and network management. 

Prior to joining IDC, Ms. Juros was a senior market intelligence analyst at IBM, most recently focused on advising corporate leaders on strategy, partnerships, trends and competition in the Retail and Consumer Products industries. During her long tenure at IBM, she specialized in the application and adoption of technologies across various industries with a particular eye to the impact of emerging technology, including IoT, blockchain, AI and 5G.
